DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Development Strategy
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Design policy, process and initiatives on talent management, career development, succession planning and retention programs in line with the Hibiscus Talent Management blueprint (HTM)
- Lead the design and delivery of learning strategies e.g. People Competence Profile (PCP), Employee Development programs, Career Development activity, etc.
- Identify and prioritize skill gaps and future talent needs through workforce planning and analysis.
- Collaborate with managers to implement the competency framework, determine training needs (TNA) through gap analysis and performance data and establish an annual training plan to build talent pool.
Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives
- Implement, and execute learning strategies and development programs that align with HTM blueprint.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant training content, workshops, mentoring programs, and leadership development initiatives.
- Develop and execute learning initiatives including mentoring and coaching, job-shadowing, short term assignments, formal training, and workshops.
- Drive the HRE program from identification to monitoring the progress of participants.
- Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with external vendors and consultants to ensure cost-effective services are secured.
Career Development
- Develop and facilitate career pathing and talent mobility programs to nurture internal talent and retain top performers.Â
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Identify factors that contribute to employee engagement and retention and develop strategies to address them through talent development initiatives.
- Implement programs that enhance employee experience and promote a positive workplace culture.
Collaboration & Leadership:Â
- Collaborate with HC, department/division heads, and Join DayLight Energy to align talent development initiatives, management reporting, board papers development, executive summaries, workshops, and presentations related to HC initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, cultural transformation, and others.
- Provide leadership and guidance to talent development team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in talent management and development are beneficial.
- Minimum 10 years in Human Resource Management. At least 5 years in leadership role or managing a team.
- Proven experience in talent development, L&D, or organizational development roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of talent management practices.
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in English & Bahasa U.A.E with confident and positive communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent time management skills. Able to prioritize and complete projects within deadline.
- Exposure / experience with Oil and Gas Technical / PSC Training / Technical Data Environment are an added advantage.Â
